Whatever your experience of church has been previously, we do know that it can be quite daunting walking into something new for the first time. Because of this we try to make our services as friendly and accessible as possible.
As you enter for our services you will be greeted by a welcomer who will be able to answer your questions. If we have forgotten or missed something please tell us!
We work as a team as in God’s work there is a lot to do, everyone is important no matter how small or large their task.
Our services are easy to follow and a printed sheet will guide you through. Intercessions (Prayers), the Sermon (or Reflection) and the Word of God are usually led by different people who may be visiting clergy or our own home-grown readers and volunteers.
You are very welcome to take communion or if you prefer you may just like to have a blessing.
Offerings may be given using the contactless machine at the door. The facility is user friendly. If you prefer, there is also a freewill offering during the service. Envelopes and pens are provided at the end of each pew so if you pay tax you can help us claim back the tax to increase our income.
Following the service, we have an opportunity to chat, catch up with friends and get to know each other over a cuppa and a biscuit. Our Priory Room is to the rear of the church on the left. Please do join us, we would love to meet you.
